Lake Mien



Do you want a memorable vacation? Join us in a historic environment, set in a beatiful location in southern Sweden. The farm originally dates from the 1600's and was once owned by Carl Carlsson Gyllenhielm, son of the King Carl IX. Here  lies the old borderline between Sweden and Denmark, and there are a many tales of battles between the countries. The farm is  is located in the south of  Småland 35 km north Karlshamn on the shore of lake Mien.

The house avaiable for rent is the 'cottage' . Perfect for families, vacationing together, but with the advatage of privacy on two floors.

The house is about 50 m from the lake and the surrounding is open with green fields perfect for playing, picnics, relaxation etc.

A boat is also ready by the lake. Fishing license cards are for sale locally. For those who don't want to row a motor for the boat is available for rent.

We suport a living countryside and a open landscape.

  • Take the boat to the myth Klasahall, a island with caves.
